US: Indian Consulate in San Francisco attacked by Khalistan supporters

| @indiablooms | Mar 20, 2023, at 11:44 pm

As India tightens its grip around fugitive Khalistani separatist leader Amritpal Singh, his supporters attacked the Indian Consulate in San Francisco in the United States.

Videos of the attack emerged online where the Khalistani sympathisers can be seen smashing doors and windows of the Indian Consulate in San Francisco.

Several dozen protesters gathered outside the building and broke down barricades set up outside.

The supporters of the radical Sikh leader sprayed the phrase #FreeAmritpal on the property.

The Punjab Police is on a massive manhunt for the radical preacher, who has been on the run for the last three days.

The state government has suspended mobile Internet and SMS services till Tuesday noon.
