Uttar Pradesh: Bus catches fire, 4 dies

Mainpuri, Mar 25 (UNI) At least four people were burnt alive while several others sustained injuries when a passenger AC bus caught fire at Agra-Lucknow expressway in Karhal Tehsil, here, early on Monday.

Police, here said that three passengers were rescued by the local people.

The bus on its way to Lucknow caught fire when the driver lost control and the bus collided with the divider.


After the collision, one of its tyre deflated near 77 milestone.

The deceased were yet to be identified.


The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
