Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said the incident took place on Khizrabad road on the Ghaziabad-Dadri Highway when the truck entered the dhaba after breaking its wall late on Wednesday night.

"While two people died on the spot, two others died while being taken to the hospital," he said.

He said the two injured have been admitted to the Dadri Community Health Centre, where their condition was stated to be stable.

"Two of the deceased have been identified as Arun, a resident of Etah district, and Jitendra (18), a resident of Kasganj district. Efforts are being made to identify two more deceased people. The truck driver has been taken into custody," he said.
