Uttar Pradesh: One killed, 3 injured as high-tension line fell on houses

Firozabad:  One person was killed, and three others were injured when a high-tension power line fell on houses in Jasrana area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Friday.

Police sources said that the incident took place late on Thursday night when a high tension electricity line got snapped and fell on the houses in Kabilpur village.

"Four persons, including Alok, Suraj, Akash and Ratiram sustained serious injuries in the incident," they said.

Police sources said that the injured were taken to the district hospital where doctors declared Ratiram dead.

"The body has been sent for postmortem examination," they said.
