Uttar Pradesh: Two killed, four injured in road accident

Auraiyya/UNI: Two people were killed while four sustained critical injuries when two motorcycles collided in the Ayana area of this Uttar Pradesh district on Saturday.

According to the police, Shyam Bahadur (40), a resident of Ashok Nagar, Babarpur, was on his way to Pandit Ji Maharaj Inter College located in Ayana to drop his sons Paras and Abhishek for an examination.

On the other hand, Taqdeer (17) was also on his way to Panhar to appear in an examination along with his sister Sanjana and cousin sister Rama.

As soon as they neared the Rishi Maharaj Inter College, both the motorcycles had a collision, resulting in on the spot death of Taqdeer and Shyam Bahadur.

Paras, Abhishek, Sanjana and Rama were critically injured in the accident who were rushed to the Community Health Center, Ajitmal from where they have been referred to the Saifai hospital.

Further investigation was underway, police added.
