Gairsain/IBNS: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19.

Rawat said on Twitter, "My corona test report came back positive. I'm fine and I have no problem. I have isolated myself under the supervision of the doctors. Those of you who have come in close contact with me in the last few days, please be cautious and get yourself checked."

"I wish everyone good health."

Rawat became the new Uttarakhand Chief Minister after Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned from the post earlier in March.

Rawat, 56, was the BJP chief in Uttarakhand from 2013 to 2015 and has also remained as an MLA in Uttarakhand from 2012 to 2017.
