Will fight polls from whichever place my party says: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Faizabad, Mar 29 (IBNS): Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday said if her party directs then she is ready to contest the Lok Sabha polls from whichever place the Congress fields her.

However, it is still not clear whether she will fight the election this year.

Speaking to reporters in Faizabad, Gadhi said: "If the Congress asks me then I am ready to fight elections from the place my party says."

She said her party ha never followed 'politics of tokenism'.

She urged people to cast their votes intelligently.

"People should vote intelligently, they should vote for the issues that matters," Gandhi said.

Voting for the seven-phased Lok Sabha polls will start from Apr 11.

The last phase of polling will be held on May 19.

Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
