Winter session of parliament begins, PM hopes for debate
New Delhi, Dec 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he hopes the Opposition will engage themselves in debates in the course of the parliament's winter session beginning on Tuesday.
Interacting with media before the beginning of the session, Modi said: "We have continuously tried to discuss issues. There may be contradictions but discussions must take place."
"I believe all opposition parties must utilise the session for the sake of welfare of the people and not for their individual parties."
One of the crucial bills likely to be tabled in the parliament is Triple Talaq Bill, which will end the instant divorce given to Muslim women.
