With 10 crore members BJP largest political party in the world

New Delhi, Apr 30 (IBNS) The ruling Bharaitya Janata Party on Thursday claimed that it has become the world's largest political party.

BJP President Amit Shah said at a press conference that with 10 crore members, the party has surpassed the Communist Party of China which
has 8.6 crore members.

, "I take both pride and pleasure in informing that BJP has become world's largest political partym" he said while addressing a press conference.

The party launched an  online membership drive on November 1 last year when Prime Minister Narendra Modi became its first member after dialing a mobile telephone number.

Shah said BJP claimed that BJP is  the only party which has internal democracy.


The party has  maximum members from Uttar Pradesh.
