Yadav triggers controversy with his remarks on 'dusky women'
During a debate on the Insurance Bill in Rajya Sabha on Thursday, Yadav said: "People are awed by fair skin here. All are obsessed about fair skin...If you look into the matrimonial then also you find all are searching for gori, gori (fair skin)."
"The women of south are beautiful...Their bodies...We don't find it here," Yadav said.
He also made a remark on the British filmmaker, who made the documentary 'India's Daughters', and said Leslee Udwin easily got access to shoot the film due to the colour of her skin.
