Youth drowns after country made boat capsizes in Brahmaputra in Assam’s Nalbari

Guwahati: A youth drowned after a country made boat capsized in the Brahmaputra river in Assam’s Nalbari district.

A SDRF team recovered the body of the missing youth on Friday evening.

The incident took place at Mukalmua Bortol area in Nalbari district on Thursday evening.

According to the reports, the youth was missing after the country made boat capsized in the river.

Three others, who were also in the boat, managed to swim ashore.

Following the incident, SDRF team, police and locals were engaged in search operation.

The SDRF team had later recovered the body of the missing youth.
