Amarnath shrine gearing up for annual pilgrimage
BALTAL (AMARNATH BASE CAMP) JULY 14 (UNI) Horses ferrying goods near holy cave of Amarnath shrine in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The pilgrimage is likely to be held from July 23 to August 3 only from the Baltal track and not the traditional route of Pahalgam in south Kashmir. Only 500 pilgrims will be allowed per day by road from Jammu.
