Akshay Kumar announces his new film 'Gold'

Mumbai, Oct 21 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on Friday announced his new film titled 'Gold'.

Leaving his fans in suspense, Akshay initially tweeted:  "Super excited to share a news with you guys, it's as good as striking #Gold. Details out at 5 pm today,so do tune in. Any guesses."

He later shared the detail of the film which will be directed by Reema Kagti.

Making the formal announcement of the film, the actor posted: "Set in 1948, the historic story of India's first Olympic medal as a free nation, #GOLD coming to you on 15th August, 2018!."

He also tweeted the first poster of the film.

Gold once again proves Akshay's love for patriotic stories.
