Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan celebrate Maharashtra Day through Shramdaan

Latur, May 1 (IBNS): Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Aamir Khan celebrated the Maharashtra Day through Shramdaan in Latur on Tuesday.

On May 1, 1960, Maharashtra was formed by bifurcating the state of Bombay.

Aamir has tweeted a picture where he could be seen with Alia.

The former referred to the latter as "new jalmitra".

The event was organised by Aamir's Paani Foundation.

Alia too shared a picture on her Instagram where she said: "A genuine labour day "

The country is also celebrating International Workers' Day, which is also known as May Day, on Tuesday.
