Anu Aggarwal: Dussehra is a time where I think we need to observe, and evaluate our own deeds

Mumbai: Actor Anu Aggarwal says that Dussehra is all about looking internally and observing ourselves.

The actress says that we all have something that we need to change and this time is all about recognising that.

“Dussehra or Vijayadashmi is an important Hindu festival that signifies the victory of good over evil. I differ here in thinking that evil exists only outside us. Each one of us has a negative side which could cause not just physical but mental injury for our close ones in our friends, family apart from spreading dark energy in the universe which would affect subconsciously,” she says, adding, “Dussehra is a time where I think we need to observe, evaluate our own deeds and kill any hurtful qualities we have.”

Talking about how she celebrates the festival, she says, “So, this day when the annual festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour by Hindus across the world on the tenth day of the Navratras, which falls on the tenth day of Ashwin or Kartik months as per the calendar, let’s correct our own pitfalls and spread love instead is hate in the world.”
