Actor Anupam Kher praised Bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut and called her a 'rockstar' after she won the Lok Sabha polls on debut from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi seat

Fighting against Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh, Ranaut won by a margin of  74,755 votes.

Singh is the son of former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh.

Appreciating her for clinching the Himalayan seat and describing her political journey as 'inspirational', Kher posted on X: " Dearest @KanganaTeam ! CONGRATULATIONS on your HUGE Victory! You are a #ROCKSTAR. Your journey is so so inspirational! So happy for you and the people of #Mandi and #HimachalPradesh. You have proved time and again that if one is focused and works hard तो “कुछ भी हो सकता है”! जय हो! #MemberParliament #KanganaRanaut #Winner."

After winning the seat, Kangana thanked the people of Mandi for giving the mandate in her favour.
