Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who turned 49 Tuesday, received an adorable wish from her husband Abhishek Bachchan.

The actor shared a throwback picture of Ash in which she is looking stunning as she poses for the camera.

In the image, Aishwarya can be seen sitting in a saree with flowers in her hand.

Along with the post, the actor wrote, "Happy Birthday, wifey! Love, light, peace and eternal success."

Soon after he shared the post, Zoya Akhtar dropped a heart emoticon.

Aishwarya, who had become Miss World in 1994, acted in a number of films opposite several co-actors.

She recently starred in Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan: I, co-starring Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha and others.

Ash made her Bollywood debut with Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya in 1997.

Some of the successful films in her career include Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Mohabbatein, Dhoom, Jodha Akbar.

After taking a break from the films due to pregnancy, Aishwarya returned to the big screens again with Sarbjit in 2016 and later she played a cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where she was seen romancing actor Ranbir Kapoor on screen.
