Kolkata/IBNS: National award winning filmmaker Atanu Ghosh's Bengali film Aaro Ek Prithibi is a story about four people who are plunged into a crisis in London, thousands of miles away from home.

The trailer, which is highly intense and emotional, has already been released by the makers.

Speaking of the film, filmmaker Ghosh said, "This film tells stories of people who left the country and close people and went abroad. This film specifically deals with people who are living abroad but they are not someone who can't be connected."

Web series Karagar famed Bangladeshi actor Tasnia Farin, who played one of the leads Pratiksha, finds her life entrapped in a vortex of lies, deceit and danger in London.

"My character has very limited expressions. It was a challenge to portray the character with such limited expressions," Tasnia said, throwing light on her role.

Tasnia traverses from one world to the other meeting an intriguing and mysterious Ayesha.

Ayesha's role is played by actor Anindita Bose, who says she didn't think twice to say "yes" to the film.

"The way Atanu-da narrated Aisha's character to me, I was mentally very sure of doing the role. I took my steps to enter into the film but I was aware that I would do the project," Anindita said.

Pratiksha also meets unpredictable bohemian Srikanta Munshi (played by filmmaker-actor Kaushik Ganguly) and rashly impulsive Aritro Chatterjee (played by actor Shaheb Bhattacherjee).

On playing a character of a wanderer who has no interest in material things, Kaushik Ganguly said, "I will not be able to be homeless in my personal life. I need a home irrespective of its kind. I am not just a seeker of knowledge."

In the course of the film, all four characters find themselves in a situation where they have no option but to face the most challenging encounter of their lives.

"The placement of this story and characters demand a foreign location to be shot at," said Shaheb, whose character has a "turbulent past".

The Eskay Movies produced film is slated for Feb 3 release.
