Mumbai, Jan 18 (IBNS) With Bollywood trying out movies in different kinds of genres, even the Bollywood actresses are getting to do more than just sing and dance around trees.

In recent years, several Bollywood actresses got the opportunity to showcase their tougher side, be it fighting with the antagonists or getting out of risky situations. Gear up as 2016 brings to you some power packed performances from all our favourite bollywood ladies!

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha is coming up with two back to back action films, Akira and Force 2, and she is set to perform some high octane action sequences in both. In fact, she has been training in MMA as well for the same. While Akira is about women's safety, Sonakshi plays a special agent alongside John Abraham in Force 2.

Lisa Ray

Lisa, who will be marking her comeback to Bollywood with this film after a long hiatus , will be seen playing a secret
agent in the film. The “Water” actress will be seen performing major stunts in the movie. She was undergoing rigorous training sessions for a month with Grandmaster Shifuji to get her act rights.

Priyanka Chopra

PeeCee has time and again proved that she is probably the best when it comes to action sequences. From her older movies like Don, till today, whether it's Mary Kom or Quantico, Priyanka has performed numerous action sequences on her own, and she remains to be one of the toughest girls in Bollywood with her upcoming anticipated film Jai Gangajal

Sunny Leone

It is the most anticipated film of the Indo-Candian actress since she has always done comedy films and now getting into action.

Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma may have been chosen for Salman Khan's Sultan but her character may not be exactly what we were expecting it to be. The actress will be playing a wrestler in the film, mouthing Haryanvi dialogue. We have already got a sneak peek into Anushka's action packed avatar in NH10 and now, expectations from Anushka are even higher considering that her co-star Salman too will be a wrestler in Sultan.

Jacquelin Fernandes

The ever beautiful Jacquelin Fernandes will be seen in bollywood’s very own version of fast and furious- style thriller, Dishoom. We will also get to see some daring stunts performed by the actress along side Varun Dhawan and John Abraham.
