Actor Aamir Khan tweeted: "Hey guys, wishing everyone a very happy Diwali and a Happy New Year. May this festival of light enlighten our lives with all that is positive and progressive & may it fill our lives with love & compassion.Lova.a."

Actress Priyanka Chopra said: "Wishing everyone a very happy Diwali... May all your dreams come true and may you be blessed with love, luck and light!"

Actress Kajol messaged his fans: "Word of the day Redonkulously.... so have a Redonkulously Happy Diwali guys ."

Actress Alia Bhatt wished fans and tweeted: "Happy Diwali all you lovely people!!! Missing the diwali madness but please please be safe and happy! Hopefully it'll be a noise free year."

Actor Hrithik Roshan greeted as he posted :"Happy Diwali beautiful people. Please let's go easy on the noise and pollution. Rather have good time laughing n spreading love. Love u all!"
