Mumbai, Mar 23 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who has not only tasted immense success but has also bagged the Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance in film 'Queen', turned 28 years of age on Monday.

It is double celebration for the birthday girl as filmmaker Anand L Rai has planned to make the day special by unveiling the first look of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns', a sequel to the hit film '‘Tanu Weds Manu’.

Her film 'Queen' has not only done well at the box office but she garnered lot of appreciations for her performance.

Kangana made her acting debut in 2006 with a leading role in 'Gangster' and drew the attention of the audience with her very first film and her acting skills.

She chose to select roles quite different from the onset of her career.

Her performances in films like 'Woh Lamhe', 'Life in A Metro', 'Fashion' and 'Raaz 2' won her much critical acclaim.

She won a Filmfare as well as a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as a troubled model in 'Fashion' (2008).

Known for her roles with neurotic shades, she decided to break the path with 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai' (2010), 'Double Dhamaal' (2011) and 'Tanu Weds Manu'.

Kangana was seen in hit films like 'Shootout at Wadala' and Rakesh Roshan's 'Krrish 3'.

She was last year seen in 'Revolver Rani' and 'Ungli'. However, the films failed to create a mark.
