Deepika Padukone 'misses' Piku co-star Irrfan Khan

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone posted an emotional note remembering co-star Irrfan Khan on the eighth anniversary of her movie Piku.

She also shared several behind-the-scenes of the movie in her latest post.

Sharing the images, Deepika wrote: "It’s been 8 years since this gem of a movie released with these 2 very special people."

She said, "And if I could relive this experience all over again, I’d do it in a heartbeat."

Remembering Irrfan, she said: " @irrfan, I miss you!"

"@amitabhbachchan , @sircarshoojit & @juhic3 I love you! To everyone who made this film possible, thank you for your energy," Deepika said.

Piku is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by N. P. Singh, Ronnie Lahiri and Sneha Rajani.

It stars Irrfan Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, with Moushumi Chatterjee and Jisshu Sengupta portraying supporting roles.

Piku was released on 8 May, 2015.
