Diljit Dosanjh says no more live concerts in India until infrastructure upgraded

Indian singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has said he won't hold concerts anymore in India until the infrastructure is upgraded.

Addressing his audience at a concert in Chandigarh, Diljit said India does not have the "infrastructure for live concerts" and until it is upgraded, he will not perform.

He said, "We do not have the infrastructure for live concerts. It's a revenue generating space and a lot of people earn through it. I will try next time to get the stage in the centre so that the audience can gather around it.

"Until that happens, I am not doing shows in India for sure. I would request the police and administration to upgrade infrastructure."

Diljit held his Dil-Luminati concert in Chandigarh on Saturday.

He dedicated his concert to Indian chess player Gukesh Dommaraju who became the youngest ever world champion.

The singer will conclude his concert tour in Mumbai on December 19.
