The fourth season of American romantic period drama series Bridgerton is set to premiere on Netflix on January 29.

The upcoming season will be released in two parts, with the first part debuting on January 29 and the second part scheduled to stream from February 26.

Created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shondaland, Bridgerton is set in an alternate-history version of Regency-era London, where the wealthy elite navigate a high-stakes marriage market filled with gossip, romance and scandal.

The series follows the lives of the Bridgerton family, particularly their romantic journeys, and is based on the bestselling novels by Julia Quinn.

Season 4 will focus on Benedict Bridgerton’s love story, inspired by the novel An Offer from a Gentleman.

The plot centres on Benedict’s encounter with Sophie, whom he meets at a masquerade ball, and the evolution of their relationship amid societal constraints.

Luke Thompson reprises his role as Benedict Bridgerton, while Yerin Ha joins the cast as Sophie in the new season.
