Filmmaker Arjun Hingorani passes away, Dharmendra mourns

Mumbai, May 6 (IBNS): Indian filmmaker Arjun Hingorani has passed away, leaving his fans shocked and saddened.

Arjun Hingorani was 92.

He died on Saturday.

Arjun Hingorani is credited to have launched Bollywood superstar Dharmendra in the industry with the movie  Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960.

The cause of his death is still not known.

The death of the filmmaker left Dharmendra saddened.

He tweeted: "Arjun Hingorani, the man who put his hand around the shoulder of this loner in Mumbai, has left us forever ... I am extremely sad! May his soul rest in peace!!."
