Harrdy Sandhu to play Madan Lal in '83

Mumbai/IBNS: Actor Harrdy Sandhu will play the role of former cricketer Madan Lal in upcoming Hindi film '83.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted a poster saying, "#HarrdySandhu as #MadanLal... Character poster of #83TheFilm... Directed by Kabir Khan... 10 April 2020 release. #ThisIs83."

'83 is a biopic on World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev. 

The film will be directed by Kabir Khan.

Actor Ranveer Singh will be seen as Kapil Dev in the film.

Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone will portray Kapil Dev's wife's role onscreen.

The film, which will be directed by Kabir Khan, is slated to release on Apr 10.
