Hindi Medium nearing Rs 200 cr in China

Beijing, Apr 16 (IBNS): Bollywood film Hindi Medium is slowly inching toward Rs 200 crore mark at the Chinese box-office.

The movie, which has so far collected Rs 192.58 crore, was released earlier this month in China.

"After a dip on second Fri, #HindiMedium was back on track on second Sat and Sun in CHINA... Nears ₹ 200 cr mark... [Week 2] Fri $ 0.62 mn Sat $ 1.41 mn Sun $ 1.20 mn Total: $ 29.42 million [₹ 192.58 cr]," film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

It released in India last year.

The movie is directed by Saket Chaudhary.

The film stars Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles, with Deepak Dobriyal and Dishita Sehgal in supporting roles.
