I support the surgical strike conducted by India: Adnan

| | Oct 03, 2016, at 12:40 am
Patna, Oct 2 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): Adnan Sami, a singer who was born a Pakistani but embraced Indian citizenship later in India , on Sunday dared to say what others in his profession even from India could not.

He strongly backed the “surgical strike” carried out by the Indian Army in the PoK and said one holds the right to clear the garbage if the neighbor fails to clean despite repeated requests.

“Terrorism knows no boundary. I support the surgical strike conducted by India,” he told an Indian TV news channel on Sunday.

He said India did the right thing by “cleaning the garbage” in the neighbourhood.

“When the garbage spread by the neighbor reaches the other’s door and it refuses to clear them despite repeated requests, the other holds the right to clear the dirt,” Adnan said in a clear reference to Pakistan.

Expressing concern over the increasing terror activities in his native country, he said it was really distressful to see suicide bombers freely moving on the streets and targeting mosques and others.

He pardoned the people of Pakistan who slammed the singer for supporting the “surgical strike”.

“Big Congratulations to @PMOIndia & our brave Armed forces for a brilliant, successful & mature strategic strike against #terrorism ! #Salute,” Adnan had tweeted earlier, drawing bitter criticisms from the Pakistani people.
