Its 105 crore and counting for Piku

Mumbai, May 26 (IBNS): Director Shoojit Sircar's latest released film 'Piku' has entered the 100 cr nett worldwide club.

The family entertainer, starring Deepika Padukone alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan has been highly successful in India and worldwide in terms of Box office collections currently.

The film is not only the biggest hit overseas so far but also the third film in the list of top 10 Bollywood hits in India till date. The film has made 5.36 million USD – which is 34.09 cr.

‘Piku’ has made a total 71.72 cr nett domestic earnings at the Box Office with a steady third week in spite of releasing along with other big budget films. According to official reports, in its third weekend, the film made 1.35 cr on Friday, 2.40 cr on Saturday and 2.75 cr on Sunday.

‘Piku’ received phenomenal response from critics, film-buffs and Bollywood celebs that have showered praises on the director and his cast. The overall success of this film has left the team floored with all the appreciation.
