Jeet's 'Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat' trailer unveiled ahead of August 14 release
Kolkata/IBNS: The makers have unveiled the trailer of Tollywood superstar Jeet starrer Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat offering audiences a glimpse into the many shades of its central character while tracing the journey of a man whose story stretches from pre-Independence India to the years that followed.
Actor-producer Jeet said, "Time is the only thing which remarks a person as revolutionary or a dacoit, and even today it is relevant to us in many ways. This story is not a story of Ananta Lal Singh, but a story of a question whose answer is yet to be found."
The film follows a series of daring robberies that shake Kolkata in the 1960s, all leading to the mysterious Ananta Singh, played by Jeet.
Once a freedom fighter who stood alongside Master-da Surya Sen, portrayed by Loknath Dey, Ananta now wages his own battle against corruption, forcing those around him to question where revolution ends and crime begins.

"Today at this Alipore Jail Museum, when I narrated the dialogue, I felt like it was a reflection of history. Our team has tried to portray that question, narrated in the film, with utmost honesty and we'll be waiting for the reply of the audience after August 14", actor Jeet added.
As the narrative unfolds, the film gradually explores why a revolutionary came to be known as a dacoit.
Inspired by real events, the story follows the police pursuit across the city while revealing the emotional cost of a freedom struggle that failed to honour many of its own heroes.
Director Pathikrrit Basu said, "The name Ananta Singh, was not only a freedom-fighter but also a debate of that time. From the very start, we're planning on how we can portray this debatable character. Now when the film is out, the audience will say if Ananta Singh is truly a revolutionary (Biplobi) or a decoit (Dakat)."

Directed by Basu, the film presents Jeet in multiple shades, with the trailer hinting at a story that blends action with patriotism and historical drama.
Alongside Jeet, the film features Tota Roy Choudhury, Kaushik Sen, Rajatabha Dutta, Chandan Sen, Loknath Dey, Priyanka Sarkar, Debattama Saha and Kanchan Mullick in a cameo appearance, among others.
The music has been composed by Shantanu Moitra, with vocals by Rupankar Bagchi and others.
Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat is set to release in cinemas on August 14 coinciding with Independence Day of the country.
