JioHotstar becomes India’s exclusive home for HBO Max — ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Game of Thrones’ and more now in one place

Mumbai/IBNS: JioHotstar and Warner Bros. Discovery has announced a partnership expansion that brings HBO Max to India on JioHotstar, establishing the platform as the exclusive home for HBO Max in the market.

Launching on Wednesday, the HBO Max hub offers an unrivalled collection from iconic global brands, including HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros.

Pictures, Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios. For the first time, Indian viewers can enjoy the breadth and depth of HBO Max’s content within a single, unified experience, offering a comprehensive destination for premium global storytelling.

HBO Max offers a rich and expansive catalogue of globally celebrated series, including highly anticipated upcoming titles and new seasons of HBO and Max Originals.

Premiering today in India, fans can enjoy season three of the critically acclaimed Euphoria, with the next installment of House of the Dragon, new series from DC Studios Lanterns, as well as the hugely anticipated eight-episode first season of the upcoming HBO Original “Harry Potter” series, titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone - all still to come in 2026.

Series available to stream now via the HBO Max hub, include The Last of Us, The White Lotus, The Pitt, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Succession, Dune: Prophecy, Sex and the City and Game of Thrones.

With the renewed partnership, JioHotstar subscribers can also enjoy perennial fan favourite Warner Bros. Television series Friends and The Big Bang Theory for the first time, alongside popular shows The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and The Flash.

The celebrated Warner Bros. slate, including the beloved collections of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, as well as blockbusters from the DC Universe can also be watched.
