Kangana gets her dose of sugar

Mumbai, Feb 26 (IBNS): The gorgeous Kangana Ranaut is one of the few actresses in the industry who is known for her straight-forward nature and happy-go-lucky image. The actress was recently spotted on the sets of Tanu Weds Manu 2, excitedly biting into a raw sugarcane stick.

Accompanying her was none other than Aanand L. Rai, the director of the film.

The sequel to the 2011 romantic comedy, Tanu Weds Manu 2 will have the pretty actress in a double role, one being a Haryanvi girl sporting a short crop.

A source close to the film revealed, “Kangana loves sugarcane since childhood. There is a scene in the film in which she is supposed to eat sugarcanes. After the shot was done, Kangana was very excited and eventually the entire crew also wanted to have sugarcane. So, Aanand called for more sugarcane.”

The source added, “ It was like a sugarcane treat on the sets, and everyone including Kangana and Aanand took a break and got immersed into extracting juice from the canes.”
