Katrina Kaif to star opposite Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi

Mumbai, Apr 22 (IBNS): Actress Katrina Kaif will be starring opposite actor Akshay Kumar in upcoming Hindi film Sooryavanshi.

The film will be directed by Rohit Shetty.

This will be the first film where Kaif will be acting in Shetty's direction.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Katrina Kaif in #Sooryavanshi... Akshay Kumar and Katrina - who delivered several hits - team up after a long gap... #Sooryavanshi marks Katrina's first collaboration with director Rohit Shetty."

Kaif, who was last seen in Zero, is waiting for the release of Salman Khan-starrer Bharat.

Kaif and Kumar had acted in several Hindi films like Welcome, Singh Is Kinng, Namastey London.
