Mumbai, Dec 29 (IBNS): Actress Katrina Kaif has walked out of a Bollywood dance film with actor Varun Dhawan due to "hectic schedule" of superstar Salman Khan starrer upcoming Hindi film Bharat, Hindustan Times reported.

Katrina is also playing the lead in Bharat after actress Priyanka Chopra had opted out of the film.

Katrina's spokesperson told Hindustan Times that the reason for her walk out is "her hectic schedule for Bharat. Katrina has always been a thorough professional. Her dates were clashing with Bharat, which she is currently shooting for".

Bhushan Kumar, who is producing both Bharat and Remo D'Souza directorial dance film, said the decision was mutually taken.

Earlier this year, Varun had himself announced on social media that she will be pairing with Katrina onscreen for the first time.
