Kick joins 100 crore club

Mumbai, July 30 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again proved that he is a master in producing hits as his latest release 'Kick' has entered the 100-crore club.

Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh said 'Kick' has become the 'highest grosser' of the year.

"Rs 100 cr grossers of 2014 *so far*: #JaiHo, #2States, #Holiday, #EkVillain and now #Kick," he tweeted.

"In just 5 days, #Kick is now the HIGHEST GROSSER of 2014 *so far*," he said.

Speaking on the film's Eid collection, Adarsh posted on his Twitter page: "Salmania grips the nation! #Kick does ENORMOUS biz on Eid. Collects Rs 28.89 cr nett on Tue. AWESOME!"

‘Kick’ marks the directorial debut of well-known producer Sajid Nadiadwala and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala and presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. 'Kick' released on July 25.
