Kristen Wiig will feature in Wonder Woman 2, confirms filmmaker Patty Jenkins

Los Angeles, Mar 11 (IBNS): Actress  Kristen Wiig will be seen playing a crucial role in superhero movie Wonder Woman 2, makers confirmed.

Filmmaker Patty Jenkins confirmed the matter with her post on social media.

She tweeted: " So excited to confirm the most thrilling news. Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can't wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned. #Cheetah!!! @GalGadot."

From the hashtag, it can be guessed that Wiig is likely to play the character of a villain named Cheetah.

Actress Gal Gadot, who has gained fame by playing the character of Wonder Woman wonderfully, also confirmed the matter on social media.

She tweeted: " I’m SO excited welcome on board Kristen! This is going to be WONDERful!."

Wonder Woman 2 is going to be the second movie in the series.

The first movie released in 2017.

It was liked by both critics and movie lovers.
