Kunal Kapoor raises funds for Nepal victims through Ketto

Mumbai, May 6 (IBNS): The massive earthquake, which hit Nepal on April 25 taking the lives of about 7000 people, has left an everlasting mark on millions around the globe.

The tragedy left thousands of citizens from Nepal and tourists stranded, famished and injured surrounded by massive destruction. In this bid, various organizations have also stepped forward to help and support Nepal and the Indian film industry is not far behind.

Actor Kunal Kapoor has successfully managed to raise money for the survivors of the tragedy through his crowd funding platform, Ketto. The actor’s initiative has garnered around 4. 50 lacs and is inching towards its goal of 5 lacs soon.

Celebrities like Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Nargis Fakhri, Dia Mirza, Vir Das and more have also collaborated with the platform to gather funds for Nepal and the cumulative figure has reached as high as 60 lacs! Also, numerous celebrities have also shown support to Kunal’s initiative via the #SaveNepal hashtag.
