Lalit Modi drops Sushmita Sen's mention from Instagram bio, sparks breakup rumour

| @indiablooms | Sep 06, 2022, at 06:14 pm

Two months ago, Indian Premier League (IPL) founding chairman Lalit Modi took social media by storm by revealing he was dating former Miss Universe and actor Sushmita Sen.

Soon after announcing his relationship with Sushmita, Lalit had put up his Instagram Display Picture with the former besides referring to her in the bio.

However, Lalit has now dropped Sushmita's name from the bio and replaced the DP with one featuring him in tricolour.

The recent development has triggered their breakup rumour with Sushmita and Lalit are yet to respond to it.

After their relationship went public, Sushmita was trolled by a section of netizens who accused her of being a "gold-digger".

In response, Sushmita had shut down the trolls in a long post which read, "The so called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies….the ignorant with their cheap & at times funny gossip The friends I never had & the acquaintances I’ve never met….all sharing their grand opinions & deep knowledge of my life & character…monetising the ‘Gold Digger’ all the way!!! Ah these geniuses!!!

"I dig deeper than Gold…and I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!!And yes I still buy them myself!!!"
