Breckenridge wrote, “In 24 hours, we will be back home.”

Later, the actor also teased the theme of the latest season by sharing a reel that read: “Thought this season would be about romance, but the real love story was female friendship.”

The trailer opens with Mel (Breckenridge) joyfully telling her husband Jack (Henderson) that she wants them to become parents to her baby.

The new season hints at evolving relationships and dynamics among several characters, including Brady and Brie, as well as Doc and Hope, while Lizzie is shown embracing motherhood.

Produced by Reel World Management, the series is based on the bestselling novel series by Robyn Carr.

Filmed in British Columbia, Canada, the show—set in the United States—first premiered on December 6, 2019.

Recap

The story follows Mel Monroe, a nurse practitioner and midwife, who leaves city life behind and moves to the remote Northern California town of Virgin River to work at a local clinic, hoping to heal from the grief of her husband’s untimely death.

Mel eventually falls in love with Jack Sheridan, a former U.S. Marine who owns a local pub and struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Despite expecting a quiet and simple life, Mel soon discovers that Virgin River is anything but.

Mel and Jack tied the knot in Season 6, the most recent installment currently available on Netflix.
