Miguel Ferrer passes away
He was 61.
He had appeared on CBS's "NCIS: Los Angeles" for seven seasons.
"Actor Miguel Ferrer passed away peacefully in his home this morning after losing his battle to cancer," CNN reported quoting CBS' statement.
Ferrer's notable roles include Dr. Garret Macy on Crossing Jordan, NCIS Assistant Director Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles, Vice President Rodriguez in Iron Man 3, and FBI forensic pathologist Albert Rosenfield in Twin Peaks.
Mourning his death, actor Robert Patrick tweeted: "This is devastating! Miggy was one of the sweetest guys I have ever had the pleasure to work with! R.I.P. Miguel Ferrer."
