Nimrat Kaur, Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer ‘The Road Trip’ releases today

Mumbai, Mar 8 (IBNS): On the back of a star-studded premiere at the YRF Studios, their Youth Films Division, Y-Films launched it’s first short film under Love Shots titled ‘The Road Trip’ starring Nimrat Kaur and Tahir Raj Bhasin.

The short tells the story of a young couple driving to a weekend getaway when their car breaks down. Directed by Ankur Tewari, the film also features original music composed and  performed by him with Nischay Parekh.

Ashish Patil, Head, Y-Films & Producer of Love Shots, said: “Y-Films has always tried to up the game in all it’s initiatives. Love Shots marks our first baby steps into giving the short film format a massive boost in our country. Tahir Raj Bhasin had a blast shooting for this and said, “Short films are fun experiments and a great way to improvise and play.”

Love Shots is an anthology of 6 short films that explore love in every form, shape and stage in life. It features an absolute never before coming together of some of the most exciting actors playing delightful characters including Nimrat Kaur, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Salim Merchant, Tillotama Shome, Saqib Saleem, Shweta Tripathi, Farida Jalal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rhea Chakraborty, Saba Azad & Mohit Marwah, Swanand Kirkire, Shubham Tukaram, Shravani Desai among others. And the soundtrack features 6 original songs by some of the freshest upcoming musicians of today showcasing a range of genres. The 6 music videos will be attached to each individual short film and have been directed by Shraddha Pasi Jairath.

The 6 short films and their music videos will premiere every Tuesday from Mar 8.
