Padmaavat all set to cross Rs. 100 crore mark
Mumbai, Jan 28 (IBNS): Actress Deepiak Padukone's latest released movie Padmaavat has earned Rs. 83 crores at the Box Office so far.
Speaking about the box office collection of the movie, film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " #Padmaavat continues to SPARKLE... Biz on Sat [after a big holiday on Fri] was EXCEPTIONAL... Will comfortably cross ₹ 100 cr mark today [Sun]… Wed [limited preview shows] 5 cr, Thu 19 cr, Fri 32 cr, Sat 27 cr. Total: ₹ 83 cr. India biz."
Hit by controversies, the movie, after a change of its title and release date, finally released to get positive response from fans on Jan 25.
The movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
It is the first major release of the year.
Deepika is playing the role of of Padmavati.
The movie also features actors Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
