Paresh Rawal, Mimi Chakraborty starrer 'Shastry Virudh Shastry' to release on Nov 3

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal, Tollywood superstar-MP Mimi Chakraborty starrer 'Shastri Virudh Shastri', which is the Hindi remake of 2017 Bengali film 'Posto', will hit the theatres on November 3.

The release date has been announced by Mimi, who makes her Bollywood debut with the film, on her Instagram profile.

In an Instagram post, Mimi wrote, "Can love for your child be proved in the courtroom? #ShastryVirudhShastry in cinemas 3rd November, 2023."

The film has been directed by filmmaking duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, who also helmed 'Posto'.

'Shastry Virudh Shastry', which also features Neena Kulkarni, Shiv Panditt in the lead, will narrate a story of a young boy who gets caught into a legal battle between his parents and grandparents.

'Shastry Virudh Shastry' is jointly produced by Viacom 18 Studios and Windows Production.

'Posto', the original version of 'Shastri Virudh Shastry', starred late actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Lily Chakraborty, Jisshu U Sengupta and Mimi Chakraborty in the lead.
