'Phantom' to feature Hafiz Saeed's real hate speech
Mumbai, July 24 (IBNS): Real Hafiz Saeed hate speech is all set to be part of Kabir Khan's Phantom's trailer.
The makers have incorporated the original clip from a Hafiz Saeed speech in the trailer of Phantom
Hafiz Saeed is the leader of Jamaat-ud-Dawa the political party in Pakistan. The well known politician is popular for his hate speeches which tend to trend on the social media and Digital platform.
Hafiz is known for his tangential speech on India. The man is said to be part of some of the significant attaches across the globe which includes the 26/11 and the parliament attack.
Hafiz will be seen playing a very prominent role in Phantom. The makers wanted to bring in the authentic tone and impact of his speech.
Phantom, revolves around global terrorism and has been shot in Lebanon, Syria, the UK, Canada and India. The espionage drama featuring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif is set to launch its trailer this Saturday.
The film is an adaptation of S. Hussain Zaidi's recent novel Mumbai Avengers.
In Hussain's novel, five years after the 26/11 attacks, a retired army officer spearheads a covert mission with a team of daredevil agents to seek out and kill these terror masterminds, one by one, making sure that the assassination look like natural deaths. The best-selling author has collaborated on the screenplay.
Kabir Khan confirms the story and adds “You will understand the significance of the (Saeed) speech once you see the trailer.”
