Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Adipurush' to release in Aug 2022

Mumbai/IBNS: Actors Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer upcoming Hindi film 'Adipurush' has locked Aug 11, 2022 as the release date.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweets, "PRABHAS: 'ADIPURUSH' LOCKS 11 AUG 2022..."

Apart from the two, the film also stars popular Hindi film actress Kriti Sanon and actor Sunny Singh in key roles.

'Adipurush', which is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles, is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana.

The film will feature Prabhas as Lord Rama and Saif Ali Khan as demon Ravana.

According to media reports, Kriti will play the character of  Sita opposite Prabhas while Sunny Singh will essay the character of Laxman.
