Windows Production’s Aamar Boss continues its extraordinary journey, earning a place in the Indian Panorama of the 22nd Chennai International Film Festival.

The film, which earlier made it to the Indian Panorama of the 55th International Film Festival of India and was also nominated for the prestigious ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal, has now garnered another significant recognition, strengthening its legacy in Indian cinema.

Starring the legendary Raakhee Gulzar, Aamar Boss marks her much-anticipated return to Bengali cinema.

The film’s powerful narrative, coupled with her compelling performance, has captivated audiences and critics alike.

Speaking about the honor, Raakhee Gulzar shared, "Aamar Boss is not just a film for me; it’s a statement of passion, resilience, and love for Bengali cinema.

"Being a part of a story that resonates with such depth and emotion is truly rewarding. I’m grateful to the audience and the makers for trusting me with this role."

Director duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, the creative forces behind the film, expressed their pride and excitement.

Nandita Roy said, "This recognition by the Chennai International Film Festival affirms our belief in meaningful storytelling.

"Aamar Boss  holds a special place in our hearts, and Raakhee ji’s performance has brought it to life in a way that exceeds our imagination."

Shiboprosad Mukherjee added, "Our journey with 'Aamar Boss' has been nothing short of magical. From the Indian Panorama at IFFI to this latest honor, it’s a testament to the power of cinema to transcend boundaries and connect with diverse audiences. We hope this recognition paves the way for more stories from Bengal to shine on global platforms."
