Randeep Hooda, Nandana Sen celebrate love in Rang Rasiya's new poster!

Mumbai, Nov 4 (IBNS): A brand new poster of 'Rang Rasiya', the period drama based on 19th century legendary painter Raja Ravi Varma has been launched.

The movie has actors Randeep Hooda, Nandana Sen, Rachna Shah and Feryna Wazheir in lead roles. Randeep Hooda plays the illustrious painter Raja Ravi Varma while Nandana Sen plays Sugandha, his muse. This new poster features Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen.

The poster is  inspired by Raja Ravi Varma’s famous painting of goddesses Urvashi and her love interest, Pururavas (who was a mortal) .The painting portrays Urvashi leaving Pururavas as she goes to heaven and he in turn unwilling to let go, grabs a part of her clothing.

If legends are to be believed, the painting speaks about the love they share for one other. This latest poster from ‘Rang Rasiya’ on the same lines shows Nandana Sen clad in a sensuous red saree sharing an intense eye contact with Randeep Hooda.

This poster is just a small depiction of the intense love story that the two protagonists share in the movie. The poster also conveys a very important aspect of the film that Raja Ravi Varma was the first to paint Indian goddesses and his inspiration was his muse, the beautiful Sugandha.

Presented by Jayantilal Gada (Pen), Rang Rasiya is directed by Ketan Mehta, produced by Deepa Sahi and Anand Mahendroo. ‘Rang Rasiya’ is set to release on November 7, 2014.
