Ranveer does a Shah Rukh in Switzerland

Zurich, Aug 16 (IBNS): Ranveer Singh is often hailed as the most energetic actor presently working in Bollywood and the actor is leaving no stones unturned to prove his credentials.

Singh, who is vacationing is Switzerland, made good use of his time as he re-created the famous song 'Tu Mere Saamne' from the 1993 movie Darr.

The original piece featured Shar Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla and Ranveer's tribute act has been well received by the mega star, who praised him for his efforts.

"@RanveerOfficial woke up & saw Darr song, thot ‘o wow I can dance’ till I realised it was u my man.Dont know Tujhe dekhoon ke pyaar karoon!" SRK tweeted.

Without breaking character, Singh's responded, "I was trying to feel the Junoon..but all I could feel was the Cold! haha!
I love you Sh-Sh-Sh-Sh-Shah Rukh!!!."

After the release of Darr, Shar Rukh's career sky-rocketed to fame as his psychotic character from the film with the famous stutter struck a chord with the masses.

Singh also paid tribute to Yash Chopra, the late director, who is credited for exporting Bollywood to Switzerland.

Posing beside Chopra's statue, Singh tweeted, "Yash Chopra. Son of th Soil Brought glory 2 Indian Cinema
Revered across th globe #Interlaken #HappyIndependenceDay." (Sic)

"Feeling the romance of the Yash Chopra suite at the Victoria Jungfrau #Interlaken #inLOVEwithSWITZERLAND," a second tweet read.
