Mumbai, Mar 26 (IBNS): Roar: Tigers Of The Sundarbans is a film unlike any other. Produced by Abis Rizvi and directed by Kamal Sadanah, it revolves around the majestic yet dangerous tigers of the Sundarbans area of West Bengal and their complicated relationship with humans.
The film not only had an international crew, but the makers also decided to incorporate some truly cutting edge VFX technology to create the complete experience.

Now, Abis, Kamal and the rest of the cast and crew including Anibrain who executed the VFX are getting their due as they have been awarded the 'Best VFX Shot Of The Year'  and 'Best VFX In a Motion Picture' awards at the FICCI BAF Awards 2015.

It is interesting to note that in the Best VFX Shot Of The Year Category, all the nominations were from Roar: Tigers Of The Sundarbans. And in the second category, Roar: Tigers Of The Sundarbans was pitted against massive films like Happy New Year and the Tamil blockbuster 'I'. This is truly a momentous achievement for Abis and Kamal.

An elated Abis says, "It is a great feeling to see our hard work being appreciated." This was Kamal's directorial début and here's what he has to say about this honour, “To have the brightest minds in the media validate our film by honouring us with these awards is reason enough to add newer visuals of our expressions in this line of work and play .”
