Saree-clad Deepika Padukone presents major BAFTA award

Flaunting a golden and silver-hued shimmery saree, Indian actress Deepika Padukone made her strong presence felt at the  77th BAFTA Film Awards 2024 on Sunday.

Apart from attending the iconic award ceremony at the London Royal Festival Hall,  she also presented the award for the Best Film Not in the English Language to actor Jonathan Glazer for The Zone Of Interest.

The other nominees in the category were 20 Days in Mariupol, Anatomy of a Fall, Past Lives and Society of the Snow.

Other major award presenters of the night

The list of other eminent award presenters of the night were David Beckham, Dua Lipa, Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh, Hugh Grant and Lily Collins.

Deepika was last seen in the Bollywood movie Fighter.

She paired opposite Hrithik Roshan for the first time in her career.

Meanwhile, Deepika shared a series of photos of BAFTA look on Instagram with just a fire emoji posted in the caption section.

Which movie dominated BAFTA?

With seven wins, including Best Director, Best Film and Best Leading Actor awards, Christopher Nolan's biopic film Oppenheimer dominated the show.
